Water lilies – the smartest flower in town

It’s so hot here right now that all you want to do is sit with your feet in the water. Which is basically what water lilies do, all the time. Quite smart for a tropical plant, if you ask me.

And just as a personal side note, whenever I think of the word “water lily” I can hear Captain Hook shouting TIGER LILY, SMEE!
