British Sangria

I got a bottle of Pimm’s for my Birthday.

And now, finally, the weather has turned and drinking Pimm’s in the afternoon is amazingly refreshing.

I’m not sure how to make a “real” Pimm’s, but I don’t really care – this is how I do it:

Cut up random fruit – I like strawberry, cherry, orange, and apple – and two or three slices of cucumber. Add a twig of mint, and then pour in some Pimm’s. Let it sit for a while (anywhere from 10 to 40mins is fine…I never discover what happens after 40mins because I can’t wait that long for the drink) then add Ginger Ale, a few ice cubes et…
