Van Gogh’s blossoms

Remember when I went to paint Van Gogh’s sunflowers and I ended up changed all the colours and making something unique and exciting?

This time round I wasn’t in the same mood. There was more wine and the people that came were more fun and more interesting to talk to. I was relaxed and calm and this is what I made:



I really liked my branches and wanted to leave the painting at that, but the teacher insisted.

 

 I like it. And it still looks nice in our living room!

It hasn’t been hung up yet because we’re moving. Did I mention that?

 So for now it’s leaning on the little table behing our african animals. The quails seem to like it.
