French Breakfast

This is what happened:

We woke up in Narbonne and knew we had to eat some french pastries. So we walked to the main square and sat at the first bar we found. It didn’t look perfect, but we sat down anyway, and as we sat, we saw it. Right in front of us, on the other side of the square, a patisserie with a queue of women waiting to be served.

We waited for the waitress to disappear (before she took our order), then like a pair of teenagers skidaddled to the patisserie! 😀 We had a pain au chocolat and a croissant, each. Such joy! Such fun!
