At the park of the Delta del Llobregat there is an area that cannot be accessed. This is because, when the airport was built and the land was bought from a camping, it was completely ruined by the human activity that had been going on. Now, as a park, they have fenced the area off to give it time to recover from all the trauma it has suffered.
The house we had our base in for the day (see here for more posts) was a lovely little thing, with arcs and stairs and large windows. Completely in disrepair now, the most curious feature was the swimming pool, that had been taken over only by one species of wild plant. No idea why.
I love abandoned places!
