The sea from a train

There are few trains that go from Ravenna to Rome; I took the first, at 6:30 in the morning. I left when the night was just beginning to lose its thickness and the landscape that rushed past the grimy train window could barely be seen.

I read. Then maybe I closed my eyes a split second. And when I opened them, we were rolling through Pesaro and I saw the Adriatic sea.

I had to take these photos fast. The greenish hue I think is caused by the train window but everything else is exactly how it was. Surprisingly beautiful, huh?
