A few years ago I went to a flower fair in Rome.
I thought the fair was called La Fiera dei Fiori, but actually just discovered is called Il Festival del Verde e del Paesaggio. Still full of flowers, though.
And what happened was that I spent hours going round and round the fair’s grounds, taking photos of flowers and photos of flowers and photos of more flowers until there were no more flowers to take photos of.
This one appeals to me, because of its fluffiness and purpleness and because when you see it you know it will smell like onion but that’s not important. Its beauty is unfaltering.
