Autumn in Europe isn’t as spectacular as in the USA or even some areas of Asia.
Scientists hypothesise that this is because some areas of the world, namely, North American and some parts of Asia weren’t as affected by the last ice age and so had to develop new strategies to fend off insects – loosing their leaves at least once a year and producing mild toxins that would kill (or make sick) and invertebrate that ate it.

So now I somewhat miss those colours that people are flaunting from other countries.
