Which obviously we called “Santa Maria de las Naranjas” (oranges) the whole time. Doesn’t help that the light they used was very orange…

Completed in 848, we would have never come here if it hadn’t been for an ex-student of mine that gave us the heads-up.

It was thought of as part of a Royal Palace complex that was never completed, and then some time later (during the 12th century) it was converted into a church.
