We went to Oviedo next.
We didn’t really know what to expect, but what we found was:
a very colourful city (everything seems to be very colourful in Asturias)
with interesting houses (look up!)
millions and kazillions of statues, so many that this is just a taste. A specific blog post will come out later solely on the statues of Oviedo -> this shot was Boyfriend’s idea. Just saying.
a deserted city – there was no one around, maybe also because of the annoying drizzle, and everything (cathedral included) was closed for the holiday. It was still very impressive.
And someone had carved a tiny Jesus on its wall!
