They’re here! 

Yesterday we were out in the garden and suddenly, for the first time this year, I heard their distinctive gurgling sound. We ran out from under the porch and there they were! A whole little group of European bee eaters, swooping above us between the swifts and swallows.

Spring is officially here!

I couldn’t take a photo. But I doodled a sketch during one of my classes, and thought it would be just as good.
