It’s starting to become cold here in Madrid. Have I mentioned that already? So I thought that putting some beautiful photos of summery bougainville could be a good idea.
Strong, with a woody stem and branches donned with thorns that are not children-friendly, these paper-thin flowers can be pink, red, burgundy, white, orange or yellow. Some are also born with bicoloured flowers.
Apart from its thorns, the sap of this plant is quite toxic and can cause skin irritations if touched.
