Ship Shadow Box

Suddenly, it was nearly our father’s birthday. My sister and I put our heads together one afternoon and improvised. Nothing was planned, and as often happens, the art created itself.

We were quite happy with the outcome!

It’s a ship made completely with coloured paper, two wooden seagulls that we already had and some seashells stuck to the bottom for a 3D effect. Oh, and glitter of course!

It’s meant to be a shadow box that he can hang business cards and other little things on, but to date he’s used it as….a painting 😉
