Lazy Beach, on Koh Rong Samloem, is absolutely spectacular. We came her one the third day and came back on the fifth.... we couldn’t stay away! The peace, the beauty, the coral... this is the Cambodian island we had been looking for ✨
Pad Thai at the Lazy Beach restaurant, across the island. Honestly, it was really good. Perfect seasoning, the right quantity and well-cooked.

Finally we’re at the beach! And in Cambodia. We drove from the airport to the pier in Sihanoukville - which was one of the saddest places I have ever been to - and got to this island via boat. It looks perfect.
This was the second surprise cake we got on our honeymoon. It looks tacky, but, incredibly surprisingly and just like the other one, it was delicious. Absolutely delicious. Light, not too sweet, fluffy and wonderful. We struggled not to eat it all!!
Sunset on the Mekong river. @jeremywadesfc taught us to beware of large bodies of freshwater and we spent a decent amount of time watching the water and imagining the monsters lurking underneath us....
We’re on a boat again! It’s called Le Cochinchine and surprisingly (or not?) we were the only guests and the whole boat was for us 🥳 in one day we had a cooking class, visited an orchard, went cycling through riverside villages and saw the floating market. And this is me, with my very special vietnamese hat that I discovered is uniquely adapted to shelter the head from both rain and sun without overheating the brain. Perfect!
On our boat travelling down the Mekong river, Le Cochinchine, we made our own fish rolls: red snapper, rice noodles, “salad” (the usual mixed herbs) and excellent fish sauce. It was fun!
