Rumbo al Norte – Day 8: coloured churches

On the road in Cantabria, Boyfriend saw a large baby blue building and stopped.

It was the Abadia Cisterciense Santa Maria de Viaceli. It’s a monastery, famous for its cheeses and the first cement building in Spain.

In the same place, Cobreces, the was a huge red church.

The Iglesia de Sant Pedro ad Vincula, apparently.

In front of it, a monument to pilgrims.
